Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the spacious and well-equipped apartments within this restored bank building, with some even boasting balconies and glimpses of Arthur's Seat. Its location next to St Andrew's Square and the tram stop makes exploring Edinburgh easy, and the in-room washer/dryer adds great convenience. Many appreciate the little kitchens, though a few have noted a lack of basic supplies provided considering the price. Don't miss the nearby rooftop drinks at the department store on level 6.

the location is certainly convenient and close to many attractions.
I must report that my check-in process was not smooth. i found it unnecessary and a bit humiliating as another couple checking in at the same time did not encountered the same request.

Really good Experience!

warm greetinglovely welcomecomfortable apartmentnice stay
The doorman greeted us warmly upon arrival. Jo and Sam at the desk provided a lovely welcome. Their attentiveness. Our apartment was immaculate and well-styled.. it was comfortable. Staff members are the best.
The hotel did not offer much support during check in when it came to the elevator situation and how to best get to our room. While the location is amazing, this was a significant point of frustration.
Service
10/10
Staff members are very helpful and considerate. The concierge assisted with dinner options. They also efficiently managed our luggage needs, offering storage while we explored the surroundings.
Facilities
9/10
The gym includes three treadmills and two stationary bikes. A lovely bar is located upstairs. The hotel offers convenient proximity to Waverly station for rail travel and nearby shopping areas.
Location
10/10
The location offers direct access to the tram right outside the building. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. This proximity enhances the overall convenience for exploring the city.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast provided a good quality selection, though the variety seemed somewhat limited. The Register Club served excellent cocktails in the evening. The barman created great cocktails and conversation.
Rooms
9/10
Our room had great size and quality fixtures. modern fittings. It included a spacious layout with a relaxing bathtub. The apartment was beautifully styled and equipped with everything needed.

A Heartfelt Stay

great showercentral locationfriendly personalityspacious room
The shower was really great. The location was also a real plus. Staff members had such friendly personalities. The rooms felt very spacious indeed.
The minibar selection seemed limited.
Rooms
9/10
The apartments boast fully furnished kitchens. There are fine glass staircases that lead to a massive bedroom suite, the bed is certainly huge. Two bathrooms add convenience, one features a roll-top bath.
Dining
10/10
I had cocktails in the bar before dinner, the bar offers fantastic city views. The breakfast includes good coffee and there were some friendly staff members. Brunch in the "Register" restaurant added a luxurious touch before leaving.
